Ne igrajo več proti M'som, tako da nimajo garantiranih zmag.  

 

Premagali Texas včeraj, tako da smo spet 5 zmag nad .500 in trenutno na tretjem mestu v wild card race, 3.5 tekem za TB in OAK. So pa TOR, CLE (ki je pa trenutno v 6-game losing streaku), NYY in LAA vsi znotraj dveh tekem in prav proti slednjima dvema po današnjem dnevu premora igramo zadnji dve seriji doma pred All-Stars premorom.

 

M'si so tudi ena od štirih ekip v AL, ki ima pozitiven score proti ekipam, ki so nad .500 (28-26). HOU je razred zase tukaj (39-19), BOS je 28-19, TB pa 30-26.

 

Po drugi strani imamo še vedno negativen Run differenteal (-42) in je naš X-W/L (Expected Win-loss Record Based on Runs Scored and Runs Allowed) samo 38-47, tako da sigurno overperformamo (veliko comeback zmag, dober record v one-run tekmah in 9-1 v extra-inning tekmah) in bomo verjetno nazadovali v tem pogledu v drugem delu sezone. Vseeno letos nisem pričakoval, da bomo kaj več kot pa .500 ekipa in če bomo v drugi polovici avgusta ali celo septembra še vedno v igri za playoff bom res presenečen. 

 

 

Drugače pa Kikuchi edini igralec M'sov na ASG. Največ predstavnikov imajo Red Soxi (5).

Boltsi v finalu z golom Coltona premagali Habse. Novi stari prvaki Habsi dejansko niso mogli nic. Lahko bi igrali se do jutri, pa ne bi zadeli prot Vasyu. Prov vecinoma so bli nenavarni za gol. Vasilevsky je seveda osvojil Conn Smythe (mvp PO). Aja za Pata Maroona je to 3 zaporedni pokal. Naprej z Bluesi in zdej 2x z Boltsi

 

 

Jah nic kej, sezone je konec, folk bo pluval cez Tampo, da so prsli z goljufanjem do naslova, gladko pa pozabli, da so isto delali Leafsi par let nazaj pa Hawksi tudi. Zasluzen pokal, dalec najbols ekipa. Zdej pa draft

NYY spet zmagali, povedli 5-1 v dveh inningih, potem so se M'si s 3-run HR v 6. inningu približali, a v zadnjih treh inningih niso spravili skupaj nobenega hita več.

Camarena came into the game to pitch the top of the fourth inning after Padres ace Yu Darvish gave up a season-high six runs in three innings. After the Padres loaded the bases in the bottom half of the frame, Camarena connected on a 96.5 mph fastball from Scherzer that he sent 416 feet to right field for the two-out grand slam, pulling the Padres within two runs, at 8-6.

 

Collecting his first hit via a grand slam also made Camarena just the second pitcher to do so. The only other pitcher in National League or American League history to record his first hit via a grand slam was Bill Duggleby who went deep on April 21, 1898 with the Phillies, according to STATS.

M'si premagali Angelse 2-0, odlično pitchanje.

 

Dodgersi pa 22-1 zmaga proti D-Backsom, njihova druga tekma z dvema grand slamoma letos, prva ekipa v zgodovini, ki jim je to uspelo.
