Former Clemson and Oregon State quarterback DJ Uiagalelei has committed to Florida State, he told ESPN in a phone interview Monday.

 

 

 

Former Washington State quarterback Cam Ward announced Monday that he will enter the NFL draft in a short video posted on social media.

 

Ward, who entered the transfer portal after two seasons with the Cougars, was one of the most sought-after quarterbacks. But despite being pursued by several schools -- most notably Miami and Florida State -- the former Incarnate Word player opted to focus on a professional career.

 

Ward will not immediately sign with an agent, according to his father, Calvin Ward. But he'll begin training for the draft on Tuesday.

 

By not signing with an agent, Ward maintains the option to reverse course and use his final year of college eligibility. He has until Jan. 15 to file paperwork with the NFL that would make him eligible for the draft, which begins on April 25.

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic -- Dominican prosecutors on Wednesday accused Wander Franco of commercial sexual exploitation and money laundering following allegations that the Tampa Bay Rays shortstop had a relationship with a minor whose mother also faces the same charges.

 

Prosecutors requested that a judge hold Franco on an $86,000 bond, bar him from leaving the Dominican Republic and place him under house arrest. They noted that the money laundering charges stem from allegations that Franco made payments to the minor's mother.

Prosecutors also asked that the judge prohibit the minor's mother from leaving the country and place her under house arrest.

ESPN reported last week that at least two people have "filed legal action" against Franco, and that a third had accused him of improper behavior without yet seeking legal action. Dominican authorities and MLB have continued to investigate the allegations made against him. 

 

Franco signed an 11-year extension worth $182 million with the Rays in November 2021. He made the All-Star Game this past summer.

Krakeni 6 zaporednih zmag in 10 tekem z vsaj točko. Res so šli iz ene skrajnosti v drugo po tistem nizu 8 porazov. 

 

Daccord ima največ zaslug za to. Tokrat 32 obramb in je bil nepremagan 158 minut na zadnjih treh tekmah.  Statistično tudi top 5 golman po GAA in SV%. Vprašanje pa, kako dolgo bo ostal vroč.

It also marks a sixth straight win and an 8-0-2 record in the last 10 games. Daccord, with help from Chris Driedger, have surrendered just 13 goals over the 10 games and only a half dozen during what is now a six-game winning streak. So že prilezli na drugo WC mesto, ampak imajo več odigranih tekem kot ekipe za njimi. Recimo Oilersi (in tudi Kingsi, ki so spredaj) imajo kar 4 tekme manj, Kojoti in Bluesi pa dve manj.

 

Zdaj so prosti do torka, potem pa 6 tekem na gostovanju. 

 

Tatar tudi kar solidna okrepitev zaenkrat, 3 goli in 2 asistenci v 8 tekmah. Nima ravno takega impacta kot Tolvy v podobnem času lani, ampak bo odigral svojo vlogo do konca. Pa zdaj se je še Burky vrnil in tudi dal svoj prvi gol po skoraj enem letu. Čaka se še vrnitev Schwartza in seveda tudi Grubija, čeprav njega trenutno ne pogrešamo.

Welcome home, Mitch. Zelo všečen igralec, a žal je večno poškodovan in dvomim, da bo kaj od njega. Ray bo pa izpustil še polovico sezone in je pogrešljiv z vsemi mladimi SP, ki jih imamo.

 

 

Tole pa zgleda kar soliden trade za obe ekipi. Rabili smo OF, Cabby pa naj bi celo bil starting SS za Rayse po težavah Wander Franca.
