Navedek

Market is over, we have 25 players in our squad including one registered in B team (Inaki Pena)

GK:MATS,Neto, Inaki
Defense: Dest,Roberto, Pique,Araujo ,Lenglet,Umtiti, Alba,Firpo
Midfield (including AM): FDJ,Busquets,Pjanic,Alena,Puig,Fernandez and Coutinho & Pedri
Attack: Fati,Dembele, Messi, Braithwaite, Griezmann, Trincao

Players who are 23 or younger: 11 (over 45% of outfield players)
Players who are 24-28: 6 (around 23% of outfield players)
Players who are 29-33: 8 (around 32% of outfield players)

Overall:
We have pretty old starting line up most likely, with 6 players starting who are 29 or older, OTOH we have very young bench that consists of high school kids.
Depth look good on paper, with crowded midfield so Puig/Alena/Fernandez will have difficult time in getting playing time ,CB is depleted considering Umtiti form and injury history.
In attack we lack quick wings with exception of Dembele who isn't highly rated by Koeman while Braithwaite is our only true striker in the squad.

Playmaking should be better this team with added natural passers like Coutinho/Pjanic/Pedri and promotion of Puig, Trincao is decent passer for a winger too. That said we will lack a player who can play with his back to goal. A very underrated trait in strikers.

Goals has the potential to be an issue with Messi losing a step and selling Suarez, Vidal and Rakitic was our best scoring midfielders for past few years (except last season for Raki) so that won't help. Coutinho should add some goals if he is back to form, and huge burden will be put on Ansu Fati. The team will need him to be a 250+ goal scorer this year which is huge to ask from a 17-18 years old player. FDJ and Pjanic could help a bit.

B team hopefuls:
Konrad De La Fuente is arguably the most well known talent from B team. He is a good winger who had a high developing curve in past couple of years.
Gustavo Maia: The Brazilian signing is an investment that most likely will see Marlon's fate but could he surprise us with couple of calls to 1st team?
Ilaix Moriba: Biggest La Masia midfield talent in years, which speaks volume about the kid. Not he typical La Masia player either IMO, a quick & strong young player who is fairly tall.
Ramos Mingo: The Argentenian CB has separated himself from rest of Barca B defensive players and is already gaining Koeman's trust to be with 1st team in match squads.
Alejandro Balde: A 17 years old quick LB with bright future.
With a very young and big squad already, it seems that only multiple injuries would give those kids a chance in 1st team.

Biggest questions:
-What is success for this year? Is it trophies? Or building a well oiled team and develop some youngsters?

-How good is Koeman as Barca coach? Had huge success with an Ajax team in his early coaching years, since then an underwhelming career for the coach who turned us down in 2003 thinking we were a sinking ship, just to come here 17 years later in our worst situation since 2003.

-What will the 100M+ players do? Griezmann,Coutinho and Dembele were all disappointments to the club, for various reasons. Griezmann was a hard worker but a bad fit, Coutinho form went down to the toilet and Dembele could neither develop or stay healthy. Leaving the club for its 3 biggest signings in the history debleated of attacking talent. Can at least one of the two become a difference maker?

-Messi? What can he do? where he fits? Will he announce he is leaving midway in the year?

-Is FDJ the player to build your midfield around? Or is he a workhorse with ball retention ability?

-What do we have from our young players? Is Araujo a future starting CB? Is Dest the RB of the future? Is Puig a talent we aren't fair with? What is Pedri timeline? Is Trincao a potential starter? Is Fati the truth?

El Glorioso changed manager and a lot of loan players returned to their clubs too. Lejeune, Battaglia and Deyverson are all proven battlers who do a job but it’s hard to argue that a side which was on the ropes is particularly better now.

Jota could be an invaluable late addition from #AVFC to address their chronic lack of creativity. To expect him to alleviate that burden alone is a lot though. They’ll be relying on an organised defence and some magic from three good strikers to survive.

Athletic Club: B-

With such a scarcity of options, it’s hard to assess the Bilbao window. Obvious weaknesses weren't addressed but equally it's hard to do so. In Beñat and San José they have lost 2 experienced servants but Sancet will have space to develop

They did bring in Berenguer who will give them another option out wide and more to the point, natural width. The big question was whether Martínez or Llorente would return – they did not. Both would have been proven winners to add to a struggling squad.

Atleti: B

They got their striker. Simeone didn’t trust Morata, it made sense to loan him out and they trimmed some non-essential players, even if Lemar remains. Partey left and Torreira came in. A profitable deal for Atleti and not a massive downgrade

Carrasco’s pace was a necessity. And then there’s Suárez. He demonstrated on his debut what he can still do given the right eco-system. Whether Atleti can provide that remains to be seen. No doubt he’s an upgrade but he alone won’t solve their attacking issues.

Barça: D+

Semedo, Rakitic, Vidal, Suárez all left; some of those departures were crucial, especially on a cultural level. The negotiation of their fees was awful however. Pedri, Trincão and Dest make Barca younger and hungrier. Pjanic wasn't about football

It isn't the revolution that was spoken about and it remains an unbalanced squad with several glaring weaknesses (defence, number 9). Whatever the circumstances, Barcelona are much better with Messi there. Mixed bag of transfers mixed in with bad negotiation

Cádiz: B+

A good window, a lot of which was done last January when they signed Pombo, Lozano, Malbasic, Alejo and Álvaro Giménez during their promotion push, with buy clauses. The big signing was Negredo, who brings experience and a killer instinct up front

Jønsson adds some legs, Adekanye, Alcalá and Izquierdo some bench options.

Without a big budget to work with, this window is aimed at continuity with a few tweaks and more depth, which they achieved. Perhaps could do with one more player of proven quality

Celta: C-

Rafinha was one of their best players last season and the failure to bring him back will be a big loss. Smolov and Gabriel Fernández are no longer there leaving them a little short in attack, particularly given Iago Aspas is 33.

Baeza is a promising talent but not a certainty. On the other hand, Tapia is a lovely player on a free and Murillo on loan gives them three decent, experienced centre-backs.

An unspectacular window meaning more opportunities for the youngsters at Balaídos.

Eibar: D

Ipurua has lost several regulars from recent seasons, including Escalante, Charles, Orellana and Ramis. A lot of experience too. In came Muto, Recio, Brayan Gil and Pozo all on loan, but they aren't the proven quantities they are replacing

Muto has only reached 10 goals once in Europe. 'Big-money' signing Kadzior has scored and assisted plenty in Croatia but Mendilibar hasn’t even seen fit to give him a full 90 minutes yet.

Always an uphill task for Eibar, recruitment hasn’t softened the incline

Elche: A-

Circumstances are tricky this year and none more so for Elche, who finished last season just 19 days before this one started. Their squad was nowhere near ready for LaLiga and as such they’ve brought in 13 Players to revamp the squad.

Included in those 13 is a lot of experience in top divisions and one of the better central midfielders from Segunda (Raúl Guti). Obviously a lot of gelling needed.

Whether it will keep them up, who knows, but given the limited time and resources, chapeau

Getafe: B-

An interesting mix for Getafe. Signing Cucurella outright and Cucho on loan was shrewd business for good players. Both will be crucial this season. Their other big-money signing was Enes Ünal, who has a less than impressive goal record.

Bordalás often gets the best out of strikers, but Ünal is replacing Jorge Molina – which despite the Turk’s height, is perhaps too tall a task.

Etxeita is not at the level of Leandro Cabrera, who left last January. A new centre-back should have been a priority

Granada: A+

Luis Milla looks an ideal fit in midfield, while Nehúen Pérez is talented competition and cover at the back.

Luis Suárez (the other one) and Jorge Molina are great strikers and should offset, if not improve, the goals lost in Carlos Fernández

Alberto Soro, Kenedy and Gonalons represent options for Diego Martínez off the bench and a deeper squad for Europe. Add in that they didn't lose any key players (Carlos Fernández aside),  this is a club doing things very well.

Phenomenal window.

Huesca: B+

The promoted side which probably needed the least squad surgery, they didn’t rest on their laurels. Siovas, Gastón Silva, Pablo Maffeo are all good mid-table players and a sturdy defence is essential for a relegation battle

Borja García and Ontiveros offer more creativity in the midfield, which could be key.

These additions are an upgrade on the loan players they had last season. Okazaki has never been lethal and they needed another striker - they got Sandro on deadline day

Levante: C

Jorge de Frutos and Dani Gómez represent most of the Levante summer spend. However the former Castilla players are an investment for the future as much as now, which can be seen in the early errors by de Frutos.

Brave, after they just off-loaded previous investments Moses Simon and Dwamena for a significant loss.

Bruno is a loss to an already leaky defence, but there is cover. Levante are relying on a talented squad improving due to Paco López rather than the market

Osasuna: B

After losing Estupiñan and Chimy Ávila (injury), Osasuna have done well to fill gaps/add depth. Left back Juan Cruz arrived - a downgrade but always likely to be. Arrasate has stocked up on large strikers to cause problems alongside Adrián

by bringing in Budimir, Gallego and Calleri.

Jony has also arrived, which will add service to these strikers and lessen the impact of Estupiñan’s absence. Lucas Torró could be a steady but useful signing in midfield too. Much like Osasuna, organised window.

Real Betis: C

Betis lost players that contributed a lot of minutes as rotation options. None will be a notable blow, save perhaps Zou Feddal. Claudio Bravo is an upgrade in goals; Montoya, Victor Ruiz and Miranda are likely to be unspectacular substitutes

There were many weaknesses last season for Betis and aside from Bravo, none have really been addressed. But it’s also true they underperformed with Rubi and Pellegrini will provide new impetus for a squad containing some of the most talented players in LaLiga

Real Madrid: C

Florentino Pérez raised a lot of funds, which may be more important next year. Ødegaard is the only arrival to an old side with no reliable replacement for Benzema, Casemiro or Carvajal. Zidane will bet on younger players taking the next step

Bale and James leaving is healthy for the squad but they failed to shift Mariano. Jovic is an unknown at this point. It looks like a weaker Real Madrid than we are used to unless Eden Hazard gets back to his best or those young players make that step

Real Sociedad: B

The loss of Ødegaard is significant given his form last season, however in David Silva, they couldn’t have wished for a better signing. Silva’s experience and quality improve the chances of qualifying for Europe again dramatically.

They made good money from back-up keeper Rulli and Diego Llorente, who they will be confident of replacing with Le Normand and Aritz Elustondo.

Alongside an excellent group of youngsters coming through, things are shaping up well for the Txuri-Urdin

Real Valladolid: B+

Shon Weissman will hopefully be the goalscorer Valladolid have long-since needed. Bruno and Roque Mesa are seasoned performers in LaLiga, while Orellana also fits that description but also adds some flair to a sometimes turgid attack

Javi Sánchez is a promising centre-back to compete/for the future. Enes Ünal and Salisu were the major losses alongside Sandro, but they have reinvested the Salisu money well, bringing in several players which make them better overall.

Nice summer for Ronaldo

Sevilla: B

Acuña should slot in for Reguilón nicely, Suso, Óscar Rodríguez and Idrissi are all talented, young players which should provide flair and depth. Rakitic has a lot to offer at that price - purely in terms of character, that deal makes sense

Far be it from anyone to question Monchi. But here we go.

There is no similar replacement for Banega, or his incision and creativity.

A really good striker seems like a missed opportunity to take this side to the next level also. Maybe nit-picking

Valencia: F-

And if this scale went lower, Valencia would still be at the bottom of it. Rodrigo, Coquelin, Parejo, Ferran Torres and Garay is half a starting team and they all left.

All for less than €60 million.

Including: a star-striker; your captain and one of the best midfielders in LaLiga; one of the brightest wingers in world football.

Headline arrivals are some youth players, Racic and Jason back from loans. Heinous management, our condolences to Valencia fans.

Villarreal: A+

It’s your 2020 summer window winners! Outside of Cazorla (who can’t be replaced) and Zambo Anguissa, there were no major losses.

Major additions include Parejo and Coquelin. Estupiñan was one of the best left backs in Laliga last year

Foyth is an international to compete with Mario Gaspar/Raúl Albiol. Kubo is exciting and creative, can turn games alone

This squad looks ready to challenge for the top four after a summer so good, it puts pressure on Emery to perform.

Parejo... For free...

Hakeljc?

MInimalen dvig place v naslednji sezoni in bistveno visji dvig place za zadnja leta njegove pogodbe.

Seriosly, fuck off Barto.

Ronald Koeman will introduce rotations against Getafe. Pjanić, Dest and Trincao all have options to start on Saturday. [sport]

Naj on tokrat začne, potem Busi med tednom v CL proti Madžarom in spet Bosanec proti Realu.
