The Witcher 4 Will Enter Full Production Soon, CD Projekt RED Confirms

 

The development team on Project Polaris has "made substantial progress" and is ready to wrap up pre-production soon, as per CFO Piotr Nielubowicz.

 

That’s as per CD Projekt CFO Piotr Nielubowicz, who revealed in the company’s recent quarterly financial briefing that the next Witcher game, which has more than 400 people currently working on it, will soon exit pre-production and enter the full production phase.

 

“The Polaris team – working hard on the next game in the Witcher saga – made substantial progress, which will soon enable us to wrap up pre-production and take this project to the full production phase.”

 

Earlier this month, actor Doug Cockle – who voiced protagonist Geralt of Rivia in previous Witcher titles – revealed that the character will return in the series’ upcoming next instalment, though not as the primary protagonist.

Nielubowicz also touched on Orion, the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, which is still in early development at CD Projekt’s new Boston studio.

Po mojem bodo morali v smer Geralt mentor svojemu novemu protagonistu Čeprav igrici s Ciri po mojem ne bi dosega nivoju trojke. Morali bi razviti kakega res cool moškega lika, ki bi ga Geralt mentoriral.

Ajm bože mi gre na kurac updejtanje o razvoju iger ki bodo izšle po letu 2030...

Sploh CDPR, ki je lagal, da je delal na Cyberpunku 8 let, ko je blo bolj ekipca treh je delala preproduction 4 leta, pol so pa skušal po Blood & Wine scrunchat CP2077

 

Če ne drugega, tako bo vsaj ljudem bolj jasno zakaj ne dobimo nekega Elden Ringa in (dokončanega) Cyberpunka 2077 vsako leto ali pa na 2 leti. To kar dandanes publika pričakuje od next gen AAA naslova je celga kupa stvari, ki jih 20 let nazaj niso.. vse od celga fuka različnih hi-def tekstur in popravljenih robov, do zabavne fizike in obraznih animacij, da ne rečem animacije vsega ostalega

To so bolj updejti za investitorje kot fene.
