Predolg so se šlepal na model rasti z omejenim rokom trajanja (izvoz, temelječ na poceni delovni sili, ki na kitajskem ni več poceni). Namesto strukturnih reform so metali bajne bailoute za dvomljive investicije v infrastrukturo, ker je to najlažji način za dosego rasti bdp. Ker je rast bdp temeljni kpi v partiji, so tut lokalne oblasti počele isto.

Zaviral so razvoj finančnih trgov in domače potrošnje, ker je to spodbujalo izvoz, že pred leti so začel z reformami ampak je bilo too little too late. Večina rasti je izvirala iz investicij v prenapihnjen nepremičninski sektor in javne naložbe v npr. hitro železnico, ki verjetno ni ekonomsko upravičena.

 

Tako zelo na hitro, kompleksna debata, ki presega moje poznavanje tematike in seveda je, kot vse v ekonomiji, zgolj osebno mnenje.

Ni tako enostavno. Ko svet postane globalen se pač moramo naučiti sobivati. 

 

Primer je zelo podoben s podobo  Muhaaedda. Zakaj ne bi spoštovali želje (ne pravic!) drugih, če je to mogoče? Koncept "free speech" je v tem smislu širjenje evropocentrizma, kjer to ni potrebno. Govorim seveda o primerih, kjer te zahteve niso absurdne.
